With each beat of my heart
That I will find a special love
From whom, I’ll never part.

I wish upon a little star
Up in the endless sky
That I will find my perfect love
Without ever having to try.

I wish upon a little star
That sparkles bright and clear
I give myself up to the search
Relinquishing all fear.

I wish upon a little star
That when my eyes are open
I will be drawn to find the one;
The object of my devotion.
